Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun amusement park and water park are located on 235 acres in Kansas City, Missouri.

The amusement park and water park combined offer more than 100 rides, shows and attractions. Worlds of Fun, is a traditional amusement park based on Jules Verne's adventure book "Around the World in Eighty Days". Five major areas – Africa, Americana, Europa, Scandinavia, and The Orient &mash; make up the park with rides and shops named after each area's theme.

A total of 46 rides can be enjoyed at Worlds of Fun, including seven roller coasters and three water rides. Popular attractions are the Mamba megacoaster, Prowler and Timber Wolf wooden coasters, and the Viking Voyage log flume ride. For younger children, the park has Planet Snoopy with 18 rides themed after the PEANUTS® characters.

The adjacent, Oceans of Fun water park sporting a tropical theme is now included with Worlds of Fun admission and offers a dozen and half water slides and attractions, including a wave pool, lazy river and children's water play area. When it opened in 1982, it was the largest water park in the world.

Worlds of Fun amusement park opened on May 26, 1973 and current operator Cedar Fair Entertainment has owned both parks since 1995.
