In 1976, Valleyfair in Shakopee, Minnesota premiered as a turn-of-the-century amusement park with 20 rides and attractions on 26 acres. Today, Valleyfair covers 90 acres with over 75 rides and attractions, making it the largest amusement park in the upper Midwest.
The park's large collection of amusement rides, includes eight roller coasters and two exciting water rides. Your admission to Valleyfair also admits you to the recently renovated, seven-acre Soak City Waterpark featuring a newly added 350,000 gallon wave pool, waterslides, tube ride and lazy river.
Valleyfair is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment Company.
