Story Land

For more than 60 years Story Land has been a family theme park in New Hampshire's White Mountains.

The park is known for its beautiful landscaping and scenic views and is popular with families since nearly all of the park's rides and attractions, can be enjoyed by children and their parents together. Story Land's collection of 22 rides includes favorites like the Huff, Puff & Whistle Railroad train ride, an antique Carousel, Dr. Geyser's rafting ride and the Polar Coaster.

Story Land began after its founders purchased a large number of dolls from Germany based on storybook characters. When the park opened it had a single ride on an old fire truck. Today, the park continues its storybook heritage with a number with interactive nursery rhymes and fairy tale attractions featuring characters from storybooks children grow up with.

Besides the rides and storybook attractions, Story Land offers a lineup of shows and live entertainment most of which have themes and characters from children's storybooks, but a few are unique productions for the park.

Story Land also has a number of animal attractions, a variety of gift shops and wide selection of food choices. Admission to the park is priced on a pay-one-price basis and includes all rides, shows and attractions. Children 3 and under enter for free. Parking is free too.
