SeaWorld San Diego is the number one tourist attraction in San Diego. Located on more than 150 acres in San Diego's Mission Bay, SeaWorld, is an adventure park with educational shows starring the park's beloved marine mammals, animal exhibits, aquariums, and themed family and thrill rides.
The park is both educational and entertaining. A visit is not complete without seeing the park's impressive killer whales. Other popular educational shows feature the park's bottlenose dolphins and sea lions.
Some of the park's animal exhibits include the 280,000-gallon Shark Encounter walk-through aquarium, Wild Artic exhibit with beluga whales, polar bears, and walruses, Penguin Encounter featuring the park's collection of cool birds, and Dolphin Point where you can interact with and feed bottlenose dolphins and California sea otters. During the summer months, the park presents a nightly fireworks display.
For more excitement, SeaWorld has a growing collection of thrilling rides for all ages. The ride lineup includes a collection of thrilling roller coasters like Electric Eel, Emperor, and Manta, plus the combination water flume ride and roller coaster Journey To Atlantis. There are also several rides for children and rides for all like the observation SkyTower and Bayside Skyride.
