Seabreeze Amusement Park
Rochester, New York
Seabreeze in Rochester, New York celebrated its 125th anniversary in 2004.
The park opened on August 5, 1879, as the last stop on the steam railroad. The attractions at the time were picnic groves and the lakefront and it wasn't until the early 1900s that rides were added creating the amusement park. By the 1920s the park had four roller coasters, the Virginia Reel and the world's largest salt water swimming pool.
Today, Seabreeze is the 4th oldest continuously operating amusement park in North America.
Here you'll find more than 70 attractions for the entire family in a traditional amusement park setting. Seabreeze has modern thrill rides, classic rides, a historic wooden roller coaster and a collection of kiddie rides. The adjacent Raging Rivers waterpark, included with park admission, has a wave pool, lazy river and waterslides to cool off in.
