Miracle Strip Amusement Park
Panama City Beach, Florida
Miracle Strip Amusement Park closed forever at the end of the 2004 season. The park's final day of operation was September 5, 2004.
This Panama City Beach amusement park had over 30 rides and attractions, including the Starliner, Florida's only John C. Allen designed "out and back" wooden roller coaster.
The theme park was shuttered for new development, presumably for beach front condos. The wooden coaster was sold and relocated to Cypress Gardens Adventure Park. Of interest is the fact that as of 2016 nothing has been developed on the property and it has sat empty all of these years. It seems the property owners would've been better off if they'd kept the amusement park going.
