This summer visit Michigan's Adventure amusement park and its adjoining WildWater Adventure water park. These two parks offer amazing family fun and the opportunity to beat the heat with exciting water escapades. In total, the park is 250 acres offering 60 rides, shows, and attractions.

Michigan's Adventure boasts seven roller coasters to excite thrill-seekers of all ages. Experience Shivering Timbers, rated one of the top ten wooden coasters by Amusement Today. New to the park in 2008, Thunderhawk with suspended cars hanging from an overhead track, takes riders upside-down five times. Wolverine Wildcat is another wooden coaster and you'll also find the looping Corkscrew coaster.

Younger adventurers will find thrills with the Mad Mouse, Zach's Zoomer and Big Dipper junior coasters.

New to WildWater Adventure in 2011 is Beach Party, an enormous, multi-level water play structure with more than 150 features, including waterfalls, slides, net bridges, water curtains, interactive water games and so much more. A unique feature of Beach Party is an enormous geyser that will periodically erupt into a 20-inch diameter by a 95-foot spout that will shower down over the play area.

If the amusement park and water park aren't enough fun, each year the park plays host to several special events and concerts as well. Michigan's Adventure is owned and operated by Cedar Fair Entertainment company.
