Lowry Park Zoo has 56 acres of natural animal habitats with 1,700 animals housed at the facility. The zoo is divided into eight habitat areas– Safari and Ituri Forest, Wallaroo Station, Asian Gardens and Sulawesi Aviary, Free Flight Aviaries, Florida Boardwalk, Florida Mantee and Aquatic Center, Primate World and Birds of Prey.

Lowry Park Zoo offers hands-on and educational experiences with interactive exhibits and habitats. Feed a giraffe, pet animals, ride a camel or feed the lovely lorikeets.

Besides the animals, the park has a collection of amusement park rides, including the Tasmanian Tiger Family Coaster, Gator Falls log flume ride, Jungle Carousel and more. Amusement tides are included with zoo admission.
