Lost Island Theme Park
Waterloo, Iowa
This new family-owned theme park opened on June 18, 2022, after 3-years of construction.
Lost Island Themepark features 5 unique realms, each with its own distinct architecture, culture, and characters. The Tamariki (spirit) are central to the island, as they maintain the balance of four sacred elements: Udara (air), Awa (water), Yuta (earth), and Mura (fire).
The park's theme was created exclusively for Lost Island. Each land or island has a unique story paired, each paired with a collection of rides, attractions, and experiences.
Mura is a volcanic land with fierce warriors, athletes, and spiritual guides, tasked with keeping watch on the most important artifact– The Ora Tika Idol. Awa is a coastal island of simple pleasures and aquatic adventures with easy-going nomads who once sailed the world. Udara is an inventor's area with devices to harness the power of the wind with quirky, knowledge-seeking people, who long to return to the skies where they lived in a floating city. Yuta is a tropical jungle with discoveries and delicious flavors and people who are keepers of the forest and friends to all creatures.
Lost Island's collection of rides and attractions, including three roller coasters, a large selection of thrilling flat rides, and a unique dark ride– Volkanu: Quest for the Golden Idol.
A two-park ticket that includes admission to the adjacent Lost Island Waterpark can be purchased so you may enjoy the theme park and waterpark on the same day.
