Little Amerricka
Marshall, Wisconsin
Little Amerricka is a small amusement park located in Marshall, Wisconsin between Milwaukee and Madison.
This beautiful park in the Wisconsin countryside began as a showcase for the owners collection of 1/3 scale trains. Today, the park still has the collection of trains, but also has 26 amusement rides, some of them restored from amusement parks of the past. The majority of rides here can accommodate riders of all ages making the park family friendly.
Little Amerricka's four roller coasters, include a kiddie coaster for young children, a Mad Mouse steel coaster, one of the last remaining Toboggan coasters in the world and the park's flagship ride, the Meteor wooden coaster.
Relocated from Chicago's Hillcrest Park shortly after it closed, the Meteor lives on here. This figure-8 wooden coaster is not too tall, nor too fast, making it the perfect roller coaster for first time riders.
In addition to the roller coasters, you'll also find a Scrambler, Tilt-A-Whirl, Haunted House, Merry-Go-Round and more. Plus the park has a miniature golf course, go-kart and bumper boat attractions.
One of Little Amerricka's signature attractions is the Whisky River Railway, a 1/3 gauge railroad with different steam and diesel engines that pull passenger cars along two and half miles of track. The line begins in the amusement park and meanders through the scenic countryside, passing trees, ponds and wildlife, plus you'll even cross over the Whiskey River.
Admission to the park is free. Rides are priced on an individual pay-as-you-go basis or you can purchase a wristband good for unlimited rides. Little Amerricka also offers birthday party packages and can accommodate groups of various sizes.
