LEGOLAND® California Resort is a theme park, water park, aquarium and hotel located in Carlsbad, 30 minutes north of San Diego and an hour south of Orange County.

This family theme park has rides and attractions primarily for children between the ages of 2 and 12 with a theme based on Danish toymaker LEGO® and their toy bricks. Just like with the toys, kids are the ones who make things happen at this theme park.

More than 60 interactive rides, attractions and live shows are offered at LEGOLAND® California, plus the park has more than 22,000 LEGO models created from more than 57 million LEGO® bricks on display. Some of the models include impressive reproductions of American landmarks like New York, Washington D.C. and Las Vegas, plus fun ones like the new Star Wars™ Miniland.

The theme park is laid out with different themed areas — The Beginning entry plaza, Land of Adventure, DUPLO Village, Dino Island, Explore Village, Fun Town, Pirate Shores, Miniland USA and the Imagination Zone.

Each area has rides, interactive exhibits, shows and attractions that invoke creativity and imagination. Children can enter a "real life" driving school and receive their official LEGOLAND driver license for example or ride one of three thrilling roller coasters. While some attractions are just for kids, others accommodate riders of all ages like the interactive Splash Battle water ride and Sky Cruiser.

Some of the most popular attractions at the park are the Treasure Falls log ride, Dragon and LEGO TECHNIC Test Track roller coasters, and Kid Power Towers. The park also has three 4-D movies shown in the LEGO Show Place theater.
