Gillian's Wonderland Pier

This historic amusement park in Ocean City, New Jersey was founded in 1929. After more than 80 years on the Boardwalk, Gillian's Wonderland Pier remains family owned and operated and is a staple of Ocean City family fun.
Gillian's Wonderland Pier has both an indoor and outdoor amusement park with 35 different rides and attractions.
The historic indoor amusement park has ten rides, most of them classic kiddie rides and a glow-in-the-dark miniature golf course. The indoor Carousel is a hand-carved wonder from the Philadelphia Toboggan Company that dates back to 1926. The indoor park also has popular Monorail ride that has been in operation for more than 45 years.
The outdoor amusement park at Gillian's is home to the iconic Giant Wheel. This 144-foot tall wheel is one of the tallest on the East coast and visible from miles away.
Other popular rides include amusement park staples like a Wacky Worm family roller coaster, Tilt-A-Whirl, Trabant and the Galleon swinging ship. The lower deck of the outdoor park offers wet fun on the Canyon Falls Log Flume, bumper cars, a scrambler and more.
For 2012, Gillian's introduces the Thrill Zone with four exciting thrill rides, including the spinning Disko.
Admission to the park is free and rides at Gillian's Wonderland Pier are priced on a "pay-as-you-go" basis. The park is open seasonally from Palm Sunday to October.
