Fun Spot America Kissimmee

Kissimmee is a tourist destination for visitors to the greater Orlando area near Walt Disney World with souvenir shops, hotels, restaurants, amusement attractions and more, but there is one attraction in particular that stands out – Fun Spot America.

This family amusement park has a selection of thrilling rides, children's rides and go-kart tracks making it one of the more popular attractions in the area. Fun Spot America Kissimmee is easy to "spot", excuse the pun, thanks to the world's tallest SkyCoaster and its elaborate, colorful light show after dark.

At the center of the park is the iconic, 300-foot tall SkyCoaster, the tallest in the world. This spectacular ride combines the experience of skydiving and hang gliding all in one. Wearing a special flight suit, up to three people can experience the attraction at once. After a slow ascent, suspended 300-feet in the air above the pond, one rider will be asked to pull the ripcord to let the fun begin. It's truly one the ultimate thrill ride experience in Orlando and if you're too scared to try it, it's a great spectator attraction as well.

For go-kart fans this is a "must-visit" attraction in Orlando. Four different "extreme" go-kart tracks can be driven here. Race a kart on the Vortex, a track that reaches four-stories high and includes a famous 32-degree banked curve. Additional fun can be had on a slick track, road course or the park's multi-layer go-kart track.

When the racing fun is over there is no reason to stop as Fun Spot America has 18 rides for kids of all ages. For those who seek thrilling rides, there is a spinning, wild mouse roller coaster – Power Trip, a giant compressed air swing – Hot Seat, and this is the only park in the Orlando area with a Flying Skooter ride – Screamin Eagles.

In addition, you'll find several traditional amusement park rides like a Yo-Yo spinning swing ride, Bumper Cars, Paratrooper, Tilt-A-Whirl and a classic, old school Giant Slide.

Adjacent to the big rides is Kid Spot with seven rides aimed at children ages two to six. Here families can bring their little ones and let them have fun on a selection of child friendly rides like kiddie bumper cars, a small roller coaster, carousel and more.

Parking and admission to Fun Spot America is free. Rides and go-kart tracks are priced on a pay-as-you-go basis or you can purchase an wristband for unlimited rides (SkyCoaster is priced separately).
