Frontier City

Oklahoma's largest theme park offers a barrage of thrill rides, family attractions and water fun for the young and old on Highway 66 near the Adventure District. The western-themed Frontier City offers hours of entertainment for everyone.

This 40-acre park has five roller coasters, 27 amusement rides and three water rides to keep you busy. For 2012, Frontier City introduces the Wild West Water Works, the largest water activity structure in Oklahoma that stands five stories and features 198 ways to get wet, eight waterslides and a 1,000 gallon tipping water bucket.

Additional rides include the Mystery River Log Flume, Renegade Rapids white water ride and Oklahoma's only suspended roller coaster – Steel Lasso. The park also has a thrilling looping coaster, a classic "out and back" wooden coaster and Eruption, a thrilling drop tower that is the tallest ride in the state.

Families may also enjoy the view of the surrounding area while riding together on the Grand Centennial Ferris wheel. For the youngest visitors, the park has a half-dozen kiddie rides to keep them entertained.

Frontier City also hosts a variety of live entertainment and seasonal events throughout the season, including a summer concert series and the FrightFest Halloween event every October.
