Serving the Bay Area and celebrating it's 40th season, California's Great America has served more than 75 million guests and offers the most rides, most kids' rides, most roller coasters and the most water rides of any park in the region.

California's Great America is both a theme park and waterpark for one admission price. Between the two you'll find more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, including eight roller coasters and the world's tallest double-decker carousel – Carousel Columbia.

The Boomerang Bay waterpark sports an Australian theme and offers wet fun during the warm summer months. The waterpark has the Great Barrier Reef wave pool, heated swimming pool, endless river and different tube and body slides. For little ones, Kookaburra Cay is a zero-depth "spray ground" with fountains and interactive water activities.

On the theme park side, California's Great America offers thrilling roller coasters, an exciting drop ride and plenty of family rides as well. Gold Striker is the tallest, fastest wooden coaster in Northern California, Flight Deck, is an awesome, five-inversion, inverted steel coaster and Vortex is one of the world's first "stand-up" looping coasters. For an adrenaline rush, don't miss the Drop Tower Scream Zone where you'll descend 22 stories in less than four seconds.

For families with young children, the park has rides and attractions for parents and children to enjoy together in Planet Snoopy, a PEANUTS™ character area, where you can meet Charlie Brown, Lucy, Linus, Sally and of course Snoopy himself, and ride on 16 themed rides.

In October, the park presents the annual Halloween Haunt event with terrifying mazes, spooky characters, scare zones, and special shows on select evenings.
