World's Largest Traveling Roller Coaster Coming to London's Hyde Park

London – The world's largest transportable, looping roller coaster will make its UK debut as the star attraction of Hyde Park's 10th annual Winter Wonderland. It will be the first time the Olympia Looping (aka Munich Looping roller coaster has operated in the UK.

Olympia Looping is a popular ride in Germany, appearing at Munich's world famous Oktoberfest and many other carnivals throughout the year. The roller coaster features five vertical loops, 4,101 feet of steel coaster track, and a top speed of 52 miles-per-hour. Riders experience forces of up to 5.2 Gs while riding through the circular vertical loops.

This portable steel roller coaster was designed by Werner Stengel and built by Anton Schwarzkopf. The five loops are designed to resemble the Olympic rings.

Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland in London runs from November 18 until January 2.
