Orlando, FL – NBC Universal's Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park is being sued by a man who claims he owns a font the park is using on merchandise and on storefronts. The plaintiff is seeking $1.5 million in damages.
The lawsuit against NBC Universal was filed in New York City Court by P22 Type Foundry and alleges that the typeface Cezanne Regular is being used on Harry Potter merchandise.
The lawyer representing P22 Type Foundry has previously sued NBC Universal for fonts used by its cable television station, CNBC.
