Dare Devil Dive Roller Coaster Welcomes 100,000th Rider

Austell, GASix Flags Over Georgia on Friday, July 8 thrilled its 100,000th rider on Dare Devil Dive, less than 45 days after the roller coaster's grand opening. 11-year-old Chase of Lakeland, Florida was the chosen one.

To celebrate the milestone, Six Flags Over Georgia awarded Chase and his family with a free VIP Tour for the remainder of the day, including front-of-the-line access at all rides, a personal escort and unlimited food and drinks.

"We are extremely happy to announce this great milestone" said Melinda Ashcraft, Park President. "Dare Devil Dive is a wonderful addition to our park and the 100,000th rider represents the success this exciting coaster has achieved."

Dare Devil Dive is a custom nine-story tall, 2,099-foot long Euro-Fighter coaster from Gerstlauer rides. The roller coaster has a beyond-vertical, 97-degree drop, three inversions and a top speed of 52 miles-per-hour.
