Brandon, MO — Nearly 400 roller coaster enthusiasts rolled into Branson, Missouri last week for a national convention focused on thrills. The theme park Silver Dollar City, host for the June 21-23 convention, rolled out the steel track for the American Coaster Enthusiasts, a.k.a. ACE, for the group's 32nd annual national convention.
"Our members loved the friendliness, the hospitality by park employees, the quality of the food and the great rides," said ACE President Mark Cole of Winter Haven, Florida.
Founded in 1978, ACE is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of roller coasters. With more than 7,000 members in 50 states and 12 countries, ACE is the largest amusement park enthusiasts' organization in the world.
