Knott's Discounts Admission For Guests Who Bring Canned Food

Buena Park, CA -- Knott's Berry Farm is for the eighth year partnering with the Orange County Food Bank to help fight hunger in Southern California. From January 5 through February 1, 2009, every guest who makes a food donation at the park will get in for the junior price of $22.99. That's a savings for $29 off the regular admission price of $51.99.

Last year's food drive at Knott's Berry Farm yielded 34,425 lbs. of food for local distribution. The collected food will be used by the Orange County Food Bank to help meet the needs of Southern California's most destitute families and to collect needed donations beyond the traditional holiday period when the need is great and food supply is low.

Knott's Berry Farm offers 165 rides, lives shows and attractions, including the park's newest roller coaster, Pony Express. Board one of the 16 horses on Pony Express and riders leave their post with their steed launching them at zero to 38 miles-per-hour in under three seconds.
