Wahee Cyclone To Hit Wild Adventures Theme Park In 2009

Valdosta, GA -- Wild Adventures announced that they will add a new water ride to Splash Island Water Park for 2009. Wahee Cyclone, a giant funnel-shapped tube slide, will open at the Valdosta water park on Saturday, March 28, 2009.

Built by ProSlide, Wahee Cyclone is a 45-foot Tornado tube slide that accommodates up to four riders at once in cloverleaf shaped inner tubes. In addition to Wahee Cyclone, Wild Adventures plans to make additional improvements to the water park in advance of the grand opening.

Wahee Cyclone is the largest capital improvement Herschend Family Entertainment has made since it acquired Wild Adventures in 2007.

Splash Island water park is included with admission to Wild Adventures theme park.
