Winter Haven, FL -- Citrus Line Railroad is choo-chooing at Cypress Gardens theme park and guests of all ages are invited to board this scenic, relaxing train ride.

The railroad resumed operation on August 29, 2008 on its newly laid track. The track encompasses both Paradise Pier and Adventure Groove and a new portion of the track allows the cars to pass under the famous Starliner roller coaster twice. There are two stations that allow passengers to get off and on, which are named Pope and Flagler Station. Pope Station can be found near the Okeechobee Rampage roller coaster while Flagler Station is near the Splash Island Water Park entrance.

Citrus Line Railroad opened in 2004, but its track was dismantled in 2007 for the construction of the Starliner roller coaster. The train holds about 40 passengers and takes about five minutes to complete the circuit.

The train has been missed and Cypress Gardens is excited to reopen the Citrus Line Railroad.

Cypress Gardens is located in Winter Haven, Florida four miles west of SR 27 on Cypress Gardens Boulevard. For more details, visit www.cypressgardens.com.
