Allentown, PA -- The Laser looping coaster will be departing Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom at the end of the season for a new home.
According to the operator of usedrides.com, the Schwarzkopf double looping steel coaster has been sold. The roller coaster had been listed on the used amusement ride site since late-May with an asking price of $1.2 million. The actual sale price and buyer were not disclosed.
Laser originally operated at São Paulo in Buenos Aires, Brasil before being moved to Dorney Park. The 93-foot tall, 2,200 foot long roller coaster with two vertical loops debuted at the park in June 1986.
Laser is one of ten roller coasters operated at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom. The park's newest roller coaster Voodoo opened in May.

Playcenter is Actually in São Paulo, Brasil.
There's no Playcenter in Argentina, nor any city called São Paulo. Even why, "São" is portuguese for "saint", which, in spanish, is "san".
