Mamba Roller Coaster's 10th Birthday at Worlds of Fun

Kansas City, MO -- Worlds of Fun plans to celebrate the 10th birthday of the Mamba roller coaster this weekend with roll-back pricing on admission and food, birthday cake, fireworks and a gift to the first 300 riders each day.

Worlds of Fun to celebrate 10th birthday of the Mamba roller coaster Saturday and Sunday, August 9th and 10th.

This weekend, August 9 and 10, admission to Worlds of Fun will be only $26.99 plus tax. The special admission price is the same as it was in 1998, the year Mamba first opened. The park will also roll-back the prices on selected food items throughout the park. On Saturday evening the park will light up the night sky with a spectacular fireworks display at 10:00 pm.

To celebrate the Mamba's birthday, Worlds of Fun will be giving away cake in front of the roller coaster at 11:00 am and again at 5:00 pm. The first 300 riders each day will also receive a historic Mamba glow-in-the-dark necklace.

Worlds of Fun will also be welcoming back former employees this weekend. Employees of the past will meet for a reunion to rekindle old friendships and create new memories.
