Santa Clara, CA -- California's Great America will light up the summer night sky with a spectacular fireworks display every Saturday in August, plus Sunday, August 31 for Labor Day weekend.
Choreographed to a soundtrack of traditional patriotic music, the show will feature more than 200 glittery shells. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 pm, weather permitting and California's Great America is open from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on Saturdays and Sunday, August 31st.
"California's Great America has long been known for being one of the best places to see fireworks in Northern California," said Bill Lentz, vice-president and general manager for California's Great America. "We're confident guests of all ages will enjoy our all-new weekly summer fireworks series."
California's Great America is now open daily for summer through Aug. 25 with new, extended hours of operation. Visit www.cagreatamerica.com to view the park's 2008 operating calendar.
