Mummy Star Brendan Fraser To Appear At Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal City, CA -- Brendan Fraser, the start of Universal Pictures' highly anticipated summer blockbuster, The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, will make an appearance at Universal Studios Hollywood on Sunday, July 27 at 4:00 pm. The star will greet his fans and then join them for a ride on the park's "Revenge of the Mummy − The Ride" roller coaster.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor opens in theatres nationwide on August 1.

Fans will see Fraser flanked by a brigade of marching mummies outside the "Revenge of the Mummy − The Ride" where he will greet fans and entertain their many questions as well as preview a clip of the film.

Guests in attendance will also have a chance to win tickets to attend the red carpet world premiere of the new movie at Universal CityWalk later that day.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor is the latest film in Universal's blockbuster Mummy franchise.

In this adventure film the action shifts to Asia when Brendan Fraser returns as explorer Rick O'Connell to combat the resurrected Han Emperor (Jet Li) in an epic that races from the catacombs of ancient China to the neon-lit streets of post-war Shanghai and high into the spectacular Himalayas. Rick is joined in this all-new adventure by son Alex (newcomer Luke Ford), wife Evelyn (Maria Bello) and her brother, Jonathan (John Hannah). And this time, the O'Connells must stop a mummy awoken from a 2,000-year-old curse who threatens to plunge the world into his merciless, unending service.

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor opens in theatres nationwide on August 1st.
