Busch Gardens Europe Continues Fun Card Promo For Virginia Residents

Williamsburg, VA -- Busch Gardens Europe will continue to offer the popular Fun Card offer for Virginia residents for the 2008 season. With the Fun Card, Virginia residents pay for a day and receive unlimited visits to Busch Gardens Europe through September 1, 2008.

The Fun Card is priced at $56.95, the equivalent of a regular one-day admission ticket. With the Fun Card Virginia residents enjoy all of the thrills of Busch Gardens Europe over and over again including the park's five roller coasters, live shows, special events and more.

"The Fun Card was a remarkable success for Busch Gardens Europe in 2007. It was our opportunity to thank Virginia residents for supporting us through the years, and welcome our guests to many visits filled with our park's excitement including Griffon and our Summer Nights Concert Series," said Dan Dipiazzo, vice president of marketing for Busch Gardens Europe.

Busch Gardens Fun Card can be purchased online at www.buschgardens.com and they are also available for purchase at any Busch Gardens ticket window during the 2008 season.

During 2008, Busch Gardens Europe will celebrate the Loch Ness Monster's 30th anniversary. Continually rated a favorite by park guests, this classic interlocking, double looping roller coaster gives guests a peek at Scotland's most famous serpent.

For thirty years, "Nessie" has hurled its passengers along 3,240 feet of steel track into the air, over water, and through a dark cave.

The Loch Ness Monster 30th Anniversary celebrates the roller coaster as the world's first and currently only, interlocking, double-looping steel roller coaster. Since its debut in 1978, Loch Ness Monster coaster trains have traveled a distance equivalent to 150 trips around the world.
