When The Temperature Rises Oceans of Fun Is The Spot To Cool Off

Kansas City, MO -- Oceans of Fun waterpark in Kansas City is the place to go to beat the summer heat with attractions like water slides, activity pools and refreshing snacks. The current heat wave may be limiting most outdoor activities, but vacationers in the Midwest are staying cool and getting the most out of their summer break at Oceans of Fun.

If the attractions don't cool you off then there are a variety of refreshing treats. Jolly Rancher flavored frozen drinks, shaved ice and Dippin' Dots ice cream are among the cool treats offered at Oceans of Fun.

Worlds of Fun is also taking extra steps to keep things cool for amusement park visitors. Water misters throughout the park are cooling guests in select queue lines and there are also sprinklers along the midways and free ice water at food locations. Some of Worlds of Fun's thrill rides also offer a good soaking that will keep guests cool.

The parks are offering a discounted Ride & Slide ticket granting you access to both the theme park and water park on the same day. If you want to avoid the sun Worlds of Fun & Oceans of Fun also have a discounted twilight ticket which is available after 4:00 p.m.

Both Oceans of Fun waterpark and Worlds of Fun amusement park is open daily through August 26, 2007 and then weekends only from September 1 - 16, 2007. Worlds of Fun is then open for 21 fright-filled nights of Halloween Haunt, September 22 - October 31.
