Santa Clara, CA -- Great America to debut with lower admission prices when the theme park opens for its 31st season tomorrow. A new wave pool in the park's Boomerang Bay Beach Club water park will debut in May.
The park will be open this weekend, plus Friday and Saturday April 6 and 7, and closed on Easter Sunday, April 8. Great America will then be open daily for spring break from April 9 - 22 and weekends thereafter until the park begins daily operation on May 30.
This season Great America will open a new 355,000-gallon wave pool in the park's Boomerang Bay Beach Club water park. The new attraction called the Great Barrier Reef will combine the exhilaration and feel of real ocean waves without
the sand.
Guests who want to visit the theme park more than once this year can take advantage of Great America's Wow! Card. Priced at just $51.95 for adults and $34.94 for children under 48 inches or seniors 62 and older the card offers unlimited admission to Great America and Boomerang Bay all season long.
Additional season pass options that include admission to Gilroy Gardens Family Theme Park and Southern California's Knott's Berry Farm theme park and Soak City water parks are also available for the first time.
