Sandusky, OH -- Cedar Point will slightly reverse a five dollar decrease in its admission price this year when it increases its admission price by two dollars next season.
The new one-day price for 2007 will be $41.95 for adults and the child ticket will also increase to $11.95. In comparison to major theme parks like Six Flags and Disney, the higher admission price is still an exceptional value.
Industry experts predicted the increase since Cedar Point is spending $21 million for a major new attraction. Maverick the park's 17th roller coaster will debut when the park reopens next May.
