Fearfest Halloween Event Returns To Canada's Wonderland For Second Year

Vaughan, Ontario -- Fearfest returns to Paramount Canada's Wonderland theme park on October 6. For a second year the park will be transformed for twelve nights into a frightening, dark, haunted theme park, with bone-chilling themed areas. Spine-tingling attractions, thrilling rides, menacing mazes and over 100 scaractors and ghastly creatures will be on hand to horrify park guests.

Three areas of the Canada's Wonderland will make up this Halloween event: The Curse of Sleepy Hollow, MTV Rockin' Scare, and Studio Backlot Bloodpath. Each area the park promises will create a frighteningly unique experience with mazes, scare zones, original shows and of course, thrill rides.

Each zone and the related attractions are designed to frighten guests in the spirit of Halloween. At
Massacre Manor, Blood Shed, Slaughter Street Fearzone and others, guests will encounter ghouls, monsters, and other crazed creatures in a variety of terrifying scenes.

During Fearfest the Action F/X Theatre will appropriately present the interactive movie ride Elvira's Superstition and Funhouse Express.

For thrill-seekers all of the park's major rides, including Drop Zone, Minebuster, Top Gun, Vortex and Psyclone will be open.

Fearfest at Paramount Canada's Wonderland begins Friday, October 6 and continues weekends (Fri-Sun) through October 29. Hours for the event are 7:00 pm to Midnight.

Fearfest is designed to be scary and is therefore not recommended for children. Discount tickets to the event can be purchased online. For more information, visit
