Closed Roller Coaster Reopens After Girl Injures Foot

Orlando, FL -- Universal Studios Orlando will reopen the Woody Woodpecker Nuthouse roller coaster today - one day after a 4-year-old girl injured her foot while unloading.

According to the park, the girl was taken to the hospital to be treated for cuts on her foot. The girl's foot got stuck between the roller coaster's car and platform. Her foot was freed, but Universal closed the roller coaster so staff could examine the ride.

No problems were found, so the roller coaster will reopen today.
