Brooklyn, NY -- One hundred guests got a free ride on the historic Cyclone roller coaster Sunday. The free rides offered to the first one hundred guests in line, was part of the opening day activities at Brooklyn's Astroland Amusement park. To kick-off the opening of the coaster, Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz broke a bottle of Brooklyn egg cream on the Cyclone's lead car of the 79-year old wooden coaster. The Cyclone and Astroland are now open weekends until daily operation starts on Memorial Day weekend.
