Snoopy, Peanuts Characters Leaving the Mall of America

Bloomington, MN Say goodbye to Snoopy and the entire Peanuts gang. After the indoor amusement park at the Mall of America closes tonight it will be re-branded "Park at MOA".

For the past 13 years the amusement park has been called Camp Snoopy, but the license agreement to use the Peanuts brand ends today.

The indoor amusement park will remain open, but without the Peanuts characters and the themeing will be removed.

Mall of America officials tried unsuccessfully to negotiate a new contract to continue use of the Peanuts characters, but an agreement could not be reached.
