Knott's To Open T.G.I. Friday's Restaurant In Marketplace

Buena Park, CA -- Knott's Berry Farm, known for its culinary roots, and T.G.I. Friday's, a pioneer in American casual dining, have teamed up to bring a new dining experience to the legendary theme park. On June 25, Knott's Berry Farm will open the first of the West Coast's redesigned T.G.I. Friday's restaurants.

Celebrating 40 years of fun and fantastic food and drink, the legendary restaurant chain has decided to update their look and menu with exciting changes inside and out. The Knott's Berry Farm T.G.I. Friday's restaurant will be the first on the West Coast to reflect the chain's new design.

The Knott's Berry Farm T.G.I. Friday's restaurant will have a new visually inviting exterior. A travertine-covered tower in earth tones rises above the entryway and frames the building of striking black granite tile and aged brick. The signature red and white awnings will remain, but the addition of the T.G.I. Friday's icon cocktail tumbler perched on top of a glowing red tray will create an exciting new marquee canopy. The new T.G.I. Friday's restaurant interior will showcase contemporary brushed metal, stainless steel hand rails and glass partitions. The reception area has also been opened up, allowing natural light to stream in and guests to experience the energy inside the restaurant as soon as they enter.

"We are thrilled to be the site of the first redesigned T.G.I. Friday's restaurant," said Knott's West Coast Operations Vice President and General Manager Gregg Picon. "Knott's Berry Farm has always endeavored to bring the best in entertainment as well as dining to their guests and the addition of T.G.I. Friday's is just an extension of that commitment."

The 7,200-square-foot restaurant will also include a 1,600-square-foot dining patio and will be located in Knott's Berry Farm's California Marketplace outside of the park's entrance. Guests can enjoy a casual meal while watching the motion of such famous Knott's Berry Farm rides as GhostRider and the all-new Silver Bullet.
