San Antonio, TX -- A day at San Antonio's two theme parks just got a bit more costly with the admission price going up $2. Park officials attribute the increases to the addition of new attractions and entertainment.
Both SeaWorld and Six Flags Fiesta Texas increased the price of their admission tickets. Fiesta Texas' adult ticket increased to $41.99. SeaWorld raised its adult admission to $43.99 and its child admission to $33.99.
New at SeaWorld this year is the Castaway Cruisin' water ride. This lazy river ride will traverse 3.5 acres of the waterpark. In addition, SeaWorld will offer a new sea lion, walrus and otter show called Cannery Row Caper.
Six Flags plans calls for expanded entertainment this year with a new show package. The two parks each open for the 2005 season in March.
