Freak Preview Nights Offer Savings for 29th Halloween Haunt

Buena Park, CA -- Knott's Scary Farm is offering fans four special chances to preview the terror of the 29th Annual Halloween Haunt at a discount. Freak Preview Nights, October 4-7 allow guests to enjoy the fun and horror of the annual event a discount of up to $20 per ticket.

During the Freak Preview Nights of October 5-7 guests will pay only $27 presale, $30 day of event for a full night of the Haunt including all the mazes, monsters and madness before it opens for its regular 15-night run on October 11. The special price is a savings of $13 off the Haunt's $40 day of event price.

Those who want to be the first to see this year's Haunt can save even more. On Thursday, October 4 tickets to the event are being sold at the best-ever price of just $20. That's half off the regular day of the event price.

The Halloween Haunt gates swing open at 7 p.m. and the event continues until 1 a.m. (Fridays and Saturdays until 2 a.m.).

This year's 29th annual Haunt includes the return of horror icons Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and The Crypt Keeper from "Tales from the Crypt." The gruesome twosome are co-hosts of this year's park-wide festival of fear which features 10 walk-thru and ride-thru mazes, an all-new total terror trip, "Curse of the Spider Woods"; six sinster shows; four horrific scare zones; and more than a thousand monsters lurking in the fog.

All new attractions for 2001 include the "Malice in Wunderland in 3-D," "Elvira(R) Presents: Red Moon Massacre," "Lore of the Vampire," "The Crypt Keeper(R) Presents: Horrorwood Fright FestEVIL," and "Blood Bayou" mazes - plus signature new big-stage shows starring Elvira(R) and The Crypt Keeper. An all-new total terror trip, "Curse of the Spider Woods," is a short, intense, effects-rich scare experience sure to leave the bravest soul running for safety!

Halloween Haunt is a special ticket event not included with regular admission to Knotts.

Freak Preview Nights October 5-7 tickets are $27 presale and $30 day of the event. Tickets for the "bonus" night Thursday, October 4 are $20 pre-sale and $25 day of the event.

Tickets for all other Haunt nights are $36 presale, $40 day of event and discounts are available at participating Burger King locations and on 2-liter Coke products.

The 29th Annual Halloween Haunt regular nights are October 11-14, 18-21 and 25-28, 30-31 and November 2-3.
