Wonderland To Add New Rides and Attractions for 2001

Vaughan, Ontario -- Paramount Canada's Wonderland makes the largest ride installation in its history for 2001, with 5 new rides including the world's greatest spinning ride-Shockwave and the world's first suspended kid's coaster - Silver Streak.

At Zoom Zone, an all new themed area, families will find thrills for all ages, including Silver Streak, the feature attraction, plus two other exciting rides for families - Jumpin' Jet and Blast Off, 7th Portal, a new 3-D superhero motion simulation adventure at the Action F/X Theatre, rounds out Wonderland's 2001 roster.

Get set for the sensation of flying as Shockwave's twisted force and spinning
power, boosts riders 70-feet in the air, while rotating and looping 360-degrees! Immense speed, immense force, Shockwave will leave thrill seekers awed by its arsenal of tangled tricks.

Then, catch planes, trains and rocket ships in Zoom Zone, the ultimate transportation station. Zoom Zone's feature attraction, Silver Streak, is the world's largest and only children's suspended coaster with a helix. Young thrill seekers will dive, wind and swoop through its suspended, zigzagged track. Take to the stars on two other new attractions in Zoom Zone - Jumpin' Jet and Blast Off. Jumpin' Jet flies young riders through tickling, looping spins and on Blast Off kids will launch into the sky on a rocket ship!

In the 7th Portal, riders will be a part of the hottest webstrip to hit the net. From Stan Lee, the legendary co-creator of Spider-Man, X-Men and the Incredible Hulk, comes an all-new 3-D superhero ride simulator adventure in the Action F/X Theatre. Log on and hang on!
