Universal Planning Third Florida Theme Park

Orlando, FL -- The Orlando Sentinel reported earlier this week that Universal has begun to make plans for the 2,000 acres of land it purchased earlier this year from Lockheed Martin.

According to the Sentinel the development plans include a third Universal theme park that would be built after 2007. Additional plans for the property include hotels, time-share units, two golf courses and an abundance of retail space.

The development plan for the property is currently under review by Orange County planners.
