Guests showing up to the Halloween Haunt on October 9 in a hearse or flower car get two free event admissions.
Buena Park, CA -- Knott's Scary Farm is seeking owners of retired hearses and flower cars for its October 9 Hearse Day at the 27th Halloween Haunt, featuring free event admission for hearse drivers and an attempt to break the official hearse procession world record.
Under the promotion, guests who show up to Knott's 27th Annual Halloween Haunt on October 9 in a retired (not-in-service) hearse or flower car will receive two free event admissions valid for October 9 only. The offer is open to retired hearses or flower cars only. No limousines please.
Hearse owners wanting to participate in the world record procession attempt will assemble in Buena Park at 2 p.m. for a short, 1.1-mile procession ending at Knott's Scary Farm. More than 40 hearses are expected in the procession. The current world procession record is 33 hearses. Each procession driver will receive two free tickets to the Oct. 9 Halloween Haunt.
Procession participants must contact Knott's Scary Farm at 714/220-5129 prior to October 8 for details. Retired hearses and flower cars are welcome. No limousines please.
The 27th Annual Halloween Haunt is scheduled for October 8-10, 14-17, 21-24 and 27-31, 1999. Freak Preview Nights, offering special reduced admission, are Oct. 1-2 only. Ticket prices are $35 in advance and $40 day of event. Freak Preview Nights tickets for Oct. 1-2 are $25 in advance and $27 day of event.
