Buena Park, CA -- The brave men and women of the United States military can take advantage of free admission to Knott's Berry Farm during its 12th annual Veterans' Tribute. This special tribute started in mid-October and continues until November 22, a full two weeks longer than last year.
"With many military personnel already deployed, and deployment looming for many more military families, we decided to begin our tribute earlier to offer these families a carefree, fun-filled family outing," said Jack Falfas, Knott's General Manager and Vice President of Cedar Fair's West Coast Operations. "Military families face many uncertainties and make many sacrifices, as they always have. This tribute is well deserved."
Knott's claims to be the only theme park that has continuously offered free admission to veterans and active military personal in honor of the nation's Veteran's Day holiday. More than one million veterans and military personal have taken advantage of this offer since the tribute started in 1990.
Free-admission applies to US veterans and active military personnel and their spouse (or one guest) and up to two dependant children ages 3-11. Military personnel may purchase additional tickets at their local MWR ticket office. This offer is valid October 22 - November 22, 2001 only.
US veterans and active military personnel must present military ID or proof of US military service at Knott's ticket booths to receive the complimentary tribute tickets. Veteran or active military personnel must be present. (In case of deployment, Knott's will honor military spouse ID with proof of deployment.)
