Winter "Off Season" Amusement Park Operations

Los Angeles, CA -- November 1 signaled the start of the off-season for many amusement parks in the United States. From now until next spring most parks will sit dormant until snow melts and the ground thaws.

But that doesn't mean that the fun has to stop. There are plenty of parks in warmer climates that are open year-round. Now is the perfect time to plan an "off-season" vacation to one or more of these parks.

The following is list of amusement parks that operate during the winter months. You can use this list to plan a winter roller coaster vacation.

Open daily year-round with nightly extended hours, Friday until 10 p.m., Saturday and holiday periods until Midnight.

Open daily year-round, extended hours Friday, Saturday, Sunday, holidays and holiday periods.

Knott's Berry Farm
Open daily year-round except Christmas Day, extended hours on Saturday and holiday periods.

Pacific Park
