Branson, MO -- Park officials have delayed the opening of BuzzSaw Falls, a new attraction, which the park is claiming to be "the world's first liquid roller coaster." The new ride is to combine the excitement of a water ride with high-tech roller coaster thrills.
The new coaster adventure ride was supposed to have opened on May 16, but according to a source the opening is on hold due to unforeseen technical problems. Reports from the park state that the manufacturer is still on site and continues to work to resolve the problems.
The new BuzzSaw Falls cost the park nearly $7 million to build and officials had hoped to have the attraction open prior to the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
As of now sources say that the opening could be delayed for as much as six weeks. Park officials would not give a new opening date, but did say that the attraction will open as soon as it's ready.
