Vallejo, CA -- From the "Roaring '20s" to the new millennium! Take a ride on a classic wooden roller coaster with a pulse pounding modern day twist!
Six Flags Marine World is looking for grandparents and their grandchildren to be among the first to ride the most incredible, custom-built, classic wooden roller coaster of the new millennium!
Its called ROAR! for a reason! We'll be checking blood pressure both before and after the ride! Please be able bodied, young at heart and old enough to remember the "Roaring '20s" and the "golden age of roller coasters." Bring your grandchildren with you. They must be between the ages of 8 and 16 years old and at least 4-1/2 years old. Together your participation carries a symbolic message; you represent the classic, while your grandchildren are the modern day twist!
ROAR! is 10 stories high and travels through a swerving, diving two-thirds mile course at upwards of 50 miles an hour. Riders experience 17 curves, 22 crossovers and 12 points of weightlessness.
ROAR! opens to the public at Six Flags Marine World at 10 a.m. on Friday May 14.
