Coasterpalooza! June 9 at Paramount's Great America

Santa Clara, CA -- Join the members of the American Coaster Enthusiasts (ACE) for a day of fun at Coasterpalooza! Paramount's Great America is hosting this one-day event to celebrate the 117th anniversary of the Coney's Island Switchback Railway, the world's first modern roller coaster.

This special event includes admission, lunch, speakers and exclusive ride time (ERT) on some of Great America's most popular roller coasters, including Stealth and Top Gun. Members of ACE will be present and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to support the ACE Preservation fund.

Coasterpalooza! Schedule of Events

8:30 a.m. - 10 a.m. -- Registration

9:00 a.m. - 10 a.m. --ERT on Psycho Mouse, Thunder Raceway Go-Carts, Green Slime Mine Car Coaster and Taxi Jam coaster.

10 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.-- Paramount's Great America open to the public.

10 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. -- Coasterpalooza! Festival with roller coaster booths, models and displays. Thrill ride show marathon in Showtime Theater.

11 a.m. -- Exclusive behind the scenes tour of the Coaster Shop

Noon -- Lunch at the new Casa Castillo Mexican Restaurant

2 p.m. - 4 p.m. -- VIP Presentations at the Showtime Theater, including Gayle Ando, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Paramount's Great America; Arrow Dynamics and more.

8 p.m. - 10 p.m. -- ERT on Stealth and Top Gun
