Cedar Fair Announces Acquisition of Michigan's Adventure

Sandusky, OH -- Cedar Fair, L.P. announced that it has reached agreement in principle for the acquisition of Michigan's Adventure Amusement park, in Muskegon, Michigan. Cedar Fair, L.P. currently owns and operates five amusement parks and four water parks and the acquisition will be made with limited partnership units, and is subject to a number of conditions and conclusion of a definitive agreement.

Michigan's Adventure is a traditional, family-oriented amusement park offering a variety of rides and attractions, including Shivering Timbers, a world-class wooden roller coaster that is regarded by enthusiasts as one of the top coasters in the world. The park also features Wild Water Adventure, a water park with more than 20 water slides and attractions. Michigan's Adventure entertains more than 400,000 guests per year.
