The Six Themed Sections

Enter through Jazz Plaza with its French Quarter-style architecture, evoking the essence of old New Orleans. Jazz Plaza is also home to Jazz Hall, the place for fabulous entertainment. It's here that your feet begin to move to the beat of Jazzland.

Jazzland PhotoIn Cajun Country you'll experience the lore and fun of Southwest Louisiana's people, food and music. Feast on bayou bites of spicy cookin' seasoned to perfection. This is also the place to cool off on the Cypress Plunge(SM) water ride, cruise on the Gator Bait airboats or get crazy on the Muskrat Scrambler roller coaster.

Pontchartrain Beach is where Jazzland has recreated New Orleans' famed amusement park on its own Jazz Lake. Delight in the nostalgia of the setting as you take in such thrills as the Sonic Slam and Bayou Blaster sky shot rides, the Zydeco Scream coaster and the Big Easy, Jazzland's 90-foot classic Ferris wheel.

Every day is "Fat Tuesday" in the Mardi Gras section and the party never ends. Catch the carnival spirit at the nightly parade, make a splash on Spillway Splash-Out and get ready for serious thrills on Jazzland's signature wooden coaster -- the Mega Zeph.

Kids' Carnival is the favorite place for little ones who can soar on the Red Baron, drive the Kids' Bus and fly a Zinger Swinger(SM). Everything here is kid-sized and kid-approved.

Goodtime Gardens, Jazzland's open-air lawn, offers the ideal setting for company picnics, group activities and outdoor concerts.
