Aerosmith Recorded Disney's Rock 'N Roller Coaster Soundtrack

Orlando, FL -- Sources have confirmed that Aerosmith, one of America's most popular rock-n-roll bands, signed with Disney to record the soundtrack for the new Rock 'N Roller Coaster ride at the Disney/MGM Studios.

The new multi-million dollar attraction is slated to open to the public in late-July and was Disney's response to growing theme park competition in central Florida.

The Rock 'N Roller Coaster is a custom LIM-launched looping steel coaster, which was designed by Vekoma International and Walt Disney Imagineering.

The new coaster will feature four 24-passenger trains, which are being decorated to look like stretch limos. Each limo features 120 speakers, which will play the five separate audio scores during the duration of the ride.

The entire attraction features over 900 speakers and over 32,000 watts of amplifier power to blast the Aerosmith soundtrack.

The ride will begin when the trains are accelerated from zero to nearly 60 mph in less than three seconds. During the launch riders will experience g-forces of more than 4 G's. The entire ride will last for just over three minutes according to Disney officials.
