Vampire Gets Stuck Again At Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom

Louisville, KY -- The Vampire roller coaster is once again closed after the roller coaster got stuck again last Saturday in mid-air once again stranding passengers. Saturday's incident makes it the third time this year that the coaster has malfunctioned at Kentucky Kingdom.

In the latest malfunction the train once again stopped in the middle of the "boomerang" element between the two upside down inversions. Passengers aboard the train were stranded for up to four hours while rescuers attempted to rescue them.

Following this incident, park officials have decided to close the coaster until a new back-up breaking system is installed and tested.
