Kansas City, MO -- Worlds of Fun web site has been named one of the top 10 of Amusement Park web sites by eMarketer. "This site does shine, no doubt about it," said eMarketer.
During the evaluation process, over 200 official amusement park web sites were reviewed. The specific criteria include; Design: Does the site make good use of color and images? Does the site take child visitors into account, and is it capable of entertaining them? Navigation: Can the user find different parts of the site easily and in different ways? Shopping/Support: Does the site offer on-line ticket sales? Features: Does the site make good use of available technology in offering videos/animation for visitors? Is there a map of the park? Directions to the park? Does the site provide rules and regulations to prevent any surprises? Each site received a rating between one and five for each of these criteria; with the overall rating being an average of all the scores.
